ABOUT
Reggaeton singer, songwriter, and rapper widely acclaimed by fans and media as the "King of Reggaeton". He became a global Latin music icon through defining anthems such as "Danza Kuduro," "Dale Don Dale," "Dile," and "Salió el Sol". Throughout his career, he has sold more than 70 million records worldwide, solidifying his status among the most commercially successful Latin artists in history. Beyond music, he gained international fame as an actor playing Rico Santos in four installments of the blockbuster Fast & Furious film franchise.
BEFORE FAME
Before launching his professional recording career, he spent nearly four years serving as an active member and youth preacher at the Iglesia Evangélica Restauración en Cristo in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. He ultimately stepped away from the ministry to pursue his musical ambitions, getting his critical start in the urban scene with the mentorship of Héctor Delgado (from the duo Héctor & Tito), who helped produce and champion his earliest studio recordings.

His debut studio project, The Last Don (2003), earned Latin Grammy nominations and attained Platinum certification from the RIAA. FAMILY LIFE
He was born William Omar Landrón Rivera in Villa Palmeras, Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico, to parents William Landrón and Luz Antonia Rivera. He was famously married to Univision weather host and media personality Jackie Guerrido between 2008 and 2011. He is a father to three children named Nicolas, Dereck, and Diana.
